Carnival Victory is a Destiny Class cruise ship of Carnival Cruise
Lines. She was launched in 2000. Some of her features include a nine
story atrium, four pools, numerous dining options, various entertainment
options, a casino, and a spa. It is structurally identical to its sister
ship, the Carnival Triumph, and differs from its class's lead ship, the
Carnival Destiny, by the addition of extra balcony cabins on the Lido
deck and various changes to placement and shapes of its public areas.
The Carnival Victory is themed to depict the different oceans and seas
of the world. Beginning November 2008, the Carnival Victory will be
transferred to San Juan to offer 7 day Southern Caribbean cruises
visiting St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St. Kitts, St.Lucia, and
Antigua. In late 2007, the Carnival Victory underwent a refit which
included the installation of Carnival's Seaside Theater for the midship
pool.
